Staff information - names, roles, hashed PINs
Order and billing data - orders, bills, payment records (Cash/Card/UPI)

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the FlavourID platform
To process your subscription and send billing-related emails
To generate GST reports and financial summaries for your restaurant
To send operational emails (daily reconciliation, trial reminders)
To improve our product based on usage patterns
To respond to your support requests

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate the platform:

Razorpay - for processing subscription payments (subject to Razorpay's privacy policy)
Render - for backend hosting
Vercel - for frontend hosting

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for any other purpose.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we initiate a 30-day hold period before permanently deleting all associated data. You will receive an export of your data before deletion.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data - including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and PINs, and access controls that ensure each outlet's data is isolated from others.

6. Your Rights

Access - you can request a copy of all data we hold about you
Correction - you can update incorrect information from your dashboard
Deletion - you can request account deletion at any time
Export - we will provide your data in a downloadable format before deletion

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies only - for session management and authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
